Funeral services for Mrs. Vanara Jane Meckley, age 84, will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Green Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Meckley, a retired bookkeeper, was born on September 26, 1938, to the late Harlis and Ruby Arnold Verble. She passed away at Methodist North in Memphis, TN on May 18, 2023.

She is survived by one daughter, Julie (Raymond) Robinson of Munford, TN; two grandchildren, Megan (Robert) Flores and Amber (Tra) Cole; and seven great-grandchildren, Lukis Flores, Kaylee Cole, Gavin Mitchell, Kaleb Cole, Kaylee Cole, Hazel Mitchell, and Haislee Mitchell.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dick Meckley and her son, Tracy Meckley.
