Terry Gene Branscum

Memorial services for Bro. Terry Gene Branscum, age 71, will be held on November 12, 2023, at 4 p.m. Visitation with the family will be from 2 p.m. until service time. His celebration of life will be officiated by Bro. Steve Osborne. All services will take place at Gann Community Church.

Bro. Branscum, Associate Pastor of Gann Community Church, was born on October 9, 1952, in Big Flat, AR and passed away on November 1, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He surrendered to ministry in 1982 and began preaching while working in the automotive industry. After 30 years, he retired from automotive supervision in 2007. He became a full-time pastor, faithfully serving the Lord and his community. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, but his faith and his family were always his great passions. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Oral and Lorraine Curtis Branscum; his brother, Howard Branscum; and his daughter, Teresa Gail Branscum.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Branscum of Milan; two daughters, Selena (Cory) Arnold of Milan and Melissa (Eric) Hunt of Bradford; three grandchildren, Katelyn Hunt, Dakota Hunt, and Novalee Arnold; one step-grandson, Conner Lanigan; one step-great-grandson, Phthalo Wayne Lanigan; and several nieces and nephews.
