Monette Parham

Funeral services for Mrs. Monette Parham, age 98, will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12 p.m. until service time. Her celebration of life will be officiated by Bro. Ernest Pounds. 

Monette Parham was born on October 4,1925, to the late Lois and Ola Wilbanks. She passed away at her daughter’s home in Arlington, TN, on July 4, 2024. She had been under the care of hospice for one week. 

Mrs. Parham, a homemaker, was a longtime member of the Locust Grove Church of Christ. She loved to travel with her husband and daughter and was always ready to go.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Parham; his parents, Leonard and Dora Parham; two brothers and their wives, Gene Wilbanks and wife, Doris, and John Wilbanks and wife, Donna; one sister, Nell Melton Erdmann and her husbands, Jack Melton and John Erdmann; and one nephew, Howard Melton.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Parham of Arlington, TN; one son, Randy Parham and wife, Reba of Dyer, TN; one grandson, Chris Parham and wife, Hillary of Trenton, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
