Mary Cole Strauss

Funeral services for Mary Cole Strauss, age 70, will be held on Friday February 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Davis Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Mary a newspaper writer was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee on September 18, 1944 and passed away Monday February 23, 2014 at Milan General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 50 yrs. David N. Strauss of Bradford, TN.,one daughter Angelica Voigt of Trenton, Tennessee, one son David A. (Cheryl) Strauss of Fayetteville North Carolina, sister Betty Ann Gillion of Dyersburg, three brothers Andy Cole of Camden, TN, Scott Cole of Bradford, TN, Keith Cole of Hot Springs Ark.., four grandchildren David A.  (Allison) Strauss II Jacob Voigt, Alicia Reed, Luke Reed, one great grandchild Evie Marie Strauss.
