Margie Marie Scott

Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Marie Scott, age 88, will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Terrell officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Greenfield, TN. 

Margie Marie Scott was born in Gibson County, TN, on September 17, 1935, to the late Robert and Pearl Adams. She passed away on June 15, 2024, with her family by her side. She was a Baptist in faith and a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Pearl Adams; her husband, Newt Scott; her son, Jeff Scott; and her eight brothers and sisters, Ward, Dorothy, Bobbie, Faye, Danny, Doris, Johnny, and Nell.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Betty Scott of Medina, TN; two granddaughters, Starla and Secily Scott; and one great-granddaughter, Scottlyn Nails.
