Lynda Gail Groves

Funeral services for Mrs. Lynda Gail Groves, age 77, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Groves was born in Bradford, TN, on March 9, 1949, and passed away at her residence in Gibson, TN, on August 18, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas Groves; her parents, Radie and Charlene Hayes McCormick; her sister, Darlene Gant; her brother, Ricky McCormick; and her stepson, Chris Groves.

She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Turner of Gibson; one son, Darin Alexander of Atwood; one sister, Peggy McCormick Davis of Trenton; three grandchildren, Trent (Krystal) Turner, Adriana Alexander, and Jackson Alexander; two stepchildren, Kristie Kay (Anthony) Bryan and Toby Groves and his wife; and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
