Funeral services for Mr. James Belmont Pate, age 84, will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Bradford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 12 p.m. until service time.
Mr. Pate was born in Bradford, TN, on April 23, 1942, to Belmont and Etta Pharr Pate. He passed away at Trenton Health and Rehab on May 25, 2026.
He is preceded in death by parents; Belmont and Etta Pharr Pace Pate and his granddaughter, Brandy Pankey.
He is survived by four daughters; Kim Lowery of Medina; Renee (Nat) Finkelstein of Melbourne, FL, Brandy (Tony) Wright of Atlanta, GA, and Autumn (Nathan) Rau of Lake Jackson, TX; and four grandchildren, Anna (Tommy) Kent, Philip (Becca) Gross, Blakely Wright, and Brigid Rau.
