Funeral services for Mr. James Ronald Barner, Sr., age 78, will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Barner, a retired factory employee, was born in Sharon, TN, on July 13, 1946, and passed away at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital on March 10, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Barner; his son, Ronnie Barner; and his parents, Fred and Edna Chappell Barner.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy (Sonny) Wagner of Medina; one brother, Donnie Barner of Dresden; and five grandchildren, Lillie Deshawn (Wayne) Perry, Brianna (Ian) Costello; Austin White, Ashton Wagner, and Seth Wagner.
