Harlie Frank (“Toy”) Knott died June 10, 2023, at home surrounded by his family, at the age of 93. He was born September 27, 1929, in the Idlewild community, where he remained all of his life, farming the land he so loved and raising his family on that farm.
He is preceded in death by his father, Erb S. Knott; mother, Eula Oliver Knott; his three sisters, Frances Bolton, Mary Crocker, and Rebecca Pankey; and his brother, Bill Oliver Knott.
He leaves behind his bride of 68 years, Mildred Foren Knott; his son, Bennett (Nancy) Knott; his daughters, Yolanda (Mike) Woods, Vickie (George) Roberts, Robin (Robert) Sides, and Noel (Steve) Hughes; his eight grandchildren, Amy (Towanga) Dyson, Anthony Roberts, Joshua (Allison) Hatchett, Emily Hughes, Lauren (Matthew) McClanahan, Abby (Colby) Spain, Amanda (Jeremy) Lannom, and Haley Hughes; two great-grandchildren, Lane Goff and Skylar (Tony) Maza; and two great-great-grandchildren, Rosalyn Goff and Lily Maza.
Visitation will be at Hunt Funeral Home in Bradford on Monday, June 12, beginning 12:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
