Dorothy Sue Maness

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Sue Maness, 89, will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oliver’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Maness, a retired factory employee, was born in Gibson County on September 26, 1935, and passed away at Diversicare of Martin on May 15, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Maness and her parents, Walter and Claria Bowie

She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda McNabb of Bradford, Shelia (Sammy) Porter of Brazil, and Mitzie (Lee) Tapley of Bradford; two sons, Bruce (Teresa) Maness of Trenton and Richard (Angie) Hicks of Bradford; ten grandchildren, Erica (Nathan) Floyd, Justin McNabb, Peyton Akin, Justin Tanner, Brad Tanner, Morgan Taylor, Anna Taylor, Will Taylor, Emily Porter, and Caleigh Porter; and two great grandchildren, Bella Floyd and Jacob Floyd.
