Funeral services for Mr. Coy Lee Hathcock, age 81 will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Allen Tackett officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Coy, a retired production manager was born in Hohenwald, Tennessee on September 24, 1935 to the late Mr. and Mrs Sam Hathcock, and passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at McKenzie Healthcare following extended illness.

Mr. Coy is survived by his wife Jenell Hathcock of Bradford, Tennessee, two daughters Cindy (Jack) Walker of Trezevant, Tennessee, Crystal (Jamie) Shields of Nashville, Tennessee, one son Coy (Betty Ann) Hathcock of Bradford, Tennessee, three sister Ressie Bennett of Houston Texas, Merl Goucher of Truman Arkansas, Gurtrue Cole Hot Springs, Arkansas, two brother Delton Hathcock of Bradford, Tennessee, Vernie Hathcock of Elgin Illinois, six grandchildren Josh ( Madeline) Walker, Nikki (Jason) Azbell, Toni (Bart) Richardson, Misti (Seth) Dudley, Micah (Keri) Hathcock, Patti Hathcock, eleven great grandchildren Anna Kate Azbell, Lia Beth Azbell, Andrew Azbell, Jack Azbell, Ethan Richardson, Jax Richardson, Myles Hathcock, Sawyer Dudley, Max Dudley, Maggie Walker, and Allie Walker.

Mr. Coy was preceded in death by several siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mid South Chapter Alzheimers Association.
