Funeral services for Cleo Williams McCartney, age 98 will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bob McCartney and Reverend Kenneth Epperson officiating. Burial will follow at Bradford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Funeral home.
Ms. McCartney a retired factory employee of Brown Shoe Company was born in Bradford, Tennessee on December 6, 1920 to late Ervin and Alice Akin Williams, and passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at NHC Healthcare in Milan, Tennessee.
She is survived by two daughters Reba Ketcham of Bradford, Tennessee. Paulette (Johnny) Anglin of Bradford, Tennessee, one son Bill (Jo) McCartney of Bradford, Tennessee, seven grandchildren, Brad (Joy) Thetford, Patti (Tim) Taylor, Bob (Mary Ann) McCartney, Phillip (Marchele) McCartney, Michael (Alicia) McCartney, Gail (David) Henderson, John Paul (Sabrina) Anglin, eight great grandchildren Tommy (Candace) Thetford, Heather (Mark) Anderson, Johnna (Joe) Alexander, Brittany (Tyler) Coleman, Tyler McCartney, Kali McCartney, Alyssa Anglin, Ava Anglin, five great great grandchildren, Cobene Thetford, Brinley Thetford, Avery Grace Anderson, Blaze Coleman, Harper Alexander.
Ms. McCartney is preceded in death by husband Hollis McCartney, sister Dorothy Williams Taylor, Maytheline Williams McCartney a cousin who was raised by her parents Freeman stewart, son-in-law Charley Ketcham.
Pallbearers: Phillip McCartney, Tyler McCartney, Tyler Coleman, Tommy Thetford, Cobene Thetford, John Paul Anglin, David Henderson, Mark Anderson, Joe Alexander.
In lieu of flower memorials to be made to Belew’s Chapel General Baptist Church or Bradford Cemetery.
