Charles Ray Connell Sr.

Funeral services for Charles Ray Connell Sr., age 88, will be held on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Pounds Idlewild Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Connell a retired delivery man for HI-Temp Products was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 6, 1927 and passed away Saturday January 24, 2015 at Regional Hospital of Jackson after a short illness.

Mr. Connell is survived by his wife Charlotte Jean Connell of Bradford, Tennessee, one daughter Cheryl Connell of Greenfield, Tennessee, six sons, Chuck Connell of Bradford, Tennessee, David Connell of Bradford, Tennessee, Richard Connell, of Idlewild, Tennessee, Michael Connell of Bradford, Tennessee, Mark Connell, Idlewild, Tennessee, Danny Connell of Cedar Grove, Tennessee.

Thirteen Grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by grandson Steven Spencer.
