Funeral services for Cecil Thomas Harris, Jr., age 90, will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 3 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Brian and Brent Petty officiating. Burial will follow at Rutherford Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Harris, a retired mechanic, was born in Rutherford, TN, on September 25^th, 1931, to the late Cecil Thomas and Sara Lois Hollis Harris. He passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Trenton Healthcare in Trenton, TN.

He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Bud) Cranfield of Trenton, TN; a stepson, Alex Stewart of Milan, TN; a stepdaughter, Kim Stewart of Kenton, TN; a sister, Dianne Watt of Hernando, MS; four grandchildren, Brian (Kristi) Petty, Brent (Amy) Petty, Amber Dycus, and Roseaaron Ferrett; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
