Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Sue Curtis, age 74, will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny McCartney officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 1^st, from 5 until 8 p.m. and on March 2, from 11 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Curtis, a retired bank teller, was born on August 30, 1948, to the late Cecil Ray and Annette Crocker Dowland. She passed away on February 26, 2023 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She is survived by three daughters, Tammy (Rich) Cunningham of Atwood, TN, Susan (Steve) Cardwell of Bradford, TN, and LeighAnn (Mike) Sutton of Milan, TN; one sister, Cathy (Bill) Prickett of Lebanon, TN; one brother, Sammy (Jenny) Dowland of Bradford, TN; six grandchildren, Emily (Andrew) Steele, Allie (Paul) Richards, Katie (Clint) Hampton, Abby Cardwell, Jacob Sutton, and Anna Grace Sutton; and five great-grandchildren, Scarlett Steele, Caroline Steele, Vivi Steele, Bennett Hampton, and Leighton Richards.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Curtis.
