Billy Ray Connell

Funeral services for Billy Ray Connell, age 75, will be held on Thursday February 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bryan Oaks officiating. Burial will follow at Pounds-Idlewild Cemtery. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Connell a retired maintenance foreman was born in Gibson Co. Tennessee on August 1, 1942 to the late I.G. and Artie Bell Simmons Connell, and passed away Monday February 12, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare of Jackson, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Marshall Connell of Bradford, Tennessee, son Anthony (Jana) Connell of Bradford, Tennessee, two step sons, Johnny Hatfield of Milan, Tennessee, Brad Blankenship of Lavinia, Tennessee, one step daughter Lisa (Jimmy) Wall of Humboldt, Tennessee, two grandchildren, and seven step grandchildren.
