Berline Sue Holmes

Funeral services for Berline Sue Holmes, age 89, will be held on Monday January 20, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Josh Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday from 10 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Holmes a retired receptionist was born in Weakley County Tennessee on June 14, 1930 to the late Brooks and Pauline Drewry Smith, and passed away Saturday January 18, 2020 at her residence.

She is survived by two daughters Susan (Dean) Mitchell of Olive Branch Mississippi, Kathy Cox, of Warrior, Alabama, four sisters Pearlie Burke of Bradford, Tennessee, Betty Dunning of Greenfield, Tennessee, Pam Parks, Milan, Tennessee, and Ann Lee, of Big Sandy, Tennessee, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

Ms. Holmes is preceded in death by her husband Albert Holmes, and daughter Rita Moore.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and she was actively involved in the ministry and mission of the church.
